Thanks for

I have just finished
listing the dates for our trips for next summer! Please see our
"Rates and Dates" page for details.
There is still many
feet of snow on the ground here in mid Maine with very little
melting taking place as of yet. It looks like there will be plenty
of water in the streams and rivers this spring! It's hard to believe
that the first of Maine's downriver whitewater canoe races begins on
the St. George next Saturday March 29th. The race starts at 11:00am
at the bridge in Searsmont village. Registration begins at 8:30am at
the Searsmont Methodist Church or you can pre-register by calling
207-338-4598. All are welcome!
Thank you to all of
the great people who joined us last season, it was an exciting
summer with a lot of fun adventures and new friends. We opened our
new campground with eight wooded sites on the hillside behind our
base camp in Caratunk, last July. Our new base camp (and campground
office) is coming along nicely, we have done all the construction on
the place ourselves and it is exciting to see it finely taking
shape!
