Hi paddlers!
Thanks for
surfing in!
There isn't much going on here at Bullfrog
Adventures this time of the year, but we are making plans for the
2010 season!
We are planning to
add a few trips on the Sandy River this year! We paddled it three
times last summer at moderately low water levels and found it to be
a fun intermediate level kayak trip. After the spring run off the
Sandy will vary greatly with heavy rains often rising 2 to 4 feet in
a day and dropping nearly as fast!
We are also looking to add
a spring (early May) kayaking trip on the Sheepscot River from North
Whitefield down to the head of tide in the town of Alna. This is a
fun river trip for the kayaker that has a little experience and
would like to try some easy to moderate rapids. The 10 mile trip
starts as flat water with a little quick-water here and there and
ends with a two mile stretch of continuous class 2 rapids near the
take out.
We have also got a
few other exciting new adventures in the planning stages, check back
for updates! If you would like to join us on any of our upcoming
adventures please contact us, we would love to be a part of your
plans!
Thanks for checking out our web
site, we hope you can join us this season! If you have any questions
or would like to discuss your plans please call or email us!
