Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Trip

early spring only

Kenduskeag Stream canoe tripCanoe or kayak the choice is yours for this early spring trip. The Kenduskeag Stream can only be run during the high water conditions, which are usually found for a couple of weeks in the early spring. The very popular Kenduskeag-to-Bangor Canoe race is held on Saturday a week or two before this when the water is much higher and it follows the same route as our trip. The first 6 miles are all flat water with occasional riffles and a good current to Six Mile Falls, the only harder (class 2+) rapid on the trip. The falls can easily be portaged or if you want to try running it, we can show you the best route to go! The next 3 miles to the take out in Bangor’s Kenduskeag Park are a fun mix of quick water with a few easy rapids. This has been our first guided trip of the season for the last few years and has always been a lot of fun! This 9-mile guided Maine adventure includes all equipment, snack and shuttle back to your vehicle.

Price is $180 for up to four people and $45 for each additional person
